The Association of Local Distributors of Gas (ALDG) has announced its Governing Board for the 2026–2028 tenure, marking a new phase of leadership while maintaining continuity in its mission to advance Nigeria’s gas distribution sector.

As part of this transition, Kehinde Alabi, Managing Director of Axxela Gas Distribution, concludes his tenure as Chairman after two years of service.
During his leadership, the Association strengthened stakeholders’ engagement, expanded its membership base, and increased its visibility and influence within the industry.
While stepping down as Chairman, he will continue to serve on the Board, ensuring continuity and contributing his experience to the Association’s ongoing work.
Succeeding him as Chairman is Dr Olakunle Williams, President and Chief Executive Officer of Tetracore Energy Group, who previously served as Deputy Chairman of the Association. His appointment reflects a seamless succession process and reinforces ALDG’s commitment to continuity, strong leadership, and sustained growth.
The Association also announces the departure of two Board members: Dr Emeka Okwuosa, Group Chief Executive Officer of Oilserv Group, and Lekan Adekeye, Group Chief Executive Officer of Gasco Marine Limited.
ALDG extends its sincere appreciation to both distinguished members for their service and valuable contributions during their time on the Board.
Joining the Board are Auwal Ibrahim, Executive Director, Gas Distribution, NNPC Gas Marketing Limited, and Debo Fagbami, Chief Operating Officer of Xenergi Limited. Both bring extensive industry experience and valuable perspectives that will further strengthen the Board’s work and strategic direction.
ALDG congratulates the incoming Board and looks forward to a successful tenure as it continues to strengthen the gas distribution sector, advance its members’ interests, and support the growth of Nigeria’s gas sector.
