On the 1st of July 2026, our Executive Secretary, John Kadiri, joined other distinguished industry leaders at the Nigeria Gas Safety Conference held at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre, Abuja.
Speaking during a panel session, he reaffirmed that one of ALDG’s core objectives is to promote the safe development and utilisation of natural gas, ensuring that Nigeria’s abundant gas resources are translated into greater access and improved quality of life.
He also noted the participation of several ALDG member companies at the conference as a reflection of the Association’s shared commitment to advancing safety across the gas value chain.
He emphasised that continuous knowledge sharing and the adoption of industry best practices are essential, as the weakest link in the value chain, whether through safety incidents or other operational failures, can undermine the collective investments and progress made across the industry.
We commend the organisers of the Nigeria Gas Safety Conference for providing a valuable platform for collaboration, learning, and dialogue in support of a safer and more resilient domestic gas industry.
